The day I had surgery

On last week I had surgery. I was scared before the surgery but I got over it when I got to the hospital. I had surgery on my navel....but its called something else. My mom says its a hernia surgery but I just call it a belly button surgery. My navel was out so they put it in.

The surgery was okay I didn't feel anything until I woke up then I was sore. My belly button was all covered up and I could not walk for a few days. I am all better now.....I think. My mom said she had the same surgery and my sister will probably have it to.

What kinds of surgeries have you had?

Race at such a young age

I asked my mom about race the other day because I heard the word and did not understand what it meant. My mom asked me to explain the color of my skin and the color of others in my own words and whatever I say believe in it.

My response was, I am brown and I have bones inside my skin. I go to school with people who are peach or beige and brown like me. Color of skin does not matter because friends are just friends. CJ is my friend and he is beige. We are brown......I don't understand why my mom says black.

We all come in different shapes, sizes, and color but that should not define who we are. Everyone bleeds blood oh and has bones too.

What I have learned so far this summer

This summer my mom has my sister and I in "summer school" I don't like it. She has a board on the wall that outlines what we do each day. This week we are writing and reading plus I have a Dr. appointment on Friday

I am practicing my handwriting because mom says I need too. I think I write better than her (see above picture) My mom has me practicing in this book

I am almost finished this book and then we will concentrate on more math and reading. I guess I need to learn so I don't lose anything over the summer. What have you learned this summer so far?

All pictures were taken by me with my moms old snap and shoot camera and I like taking pictures its fun.

What kind of superhero do you like to wear

Sometimes I like to dress up in superhero outfits. Here is Batman who is your favorite superhero? Oh by the way I actually have this entire outfit except for the bedroom shoes my mom said she will find them for me for Christmas.

Eating fruit

My mom wants me to eat more fruits and veggies. Today its all about fruits

A couple of weeks ago my mom took us to the strawberry patch. I don't like strawberries because I just don't like the taste. It was fun picking the berries, though.

I do eat apples but not the skin because the skin is dry....(my mom said what) *shrugs*

I love watermelon its my favorite fruit I beg mom to get them all the time she goes to publix. I just started to like peaches they are okay my mom tricked me into eating them.

I have never had bananas so I don't know what they taste like but they look weird. My mom says that I am picky about fruit and I need to eat more.

What's your favorite fruit?

Happy Fathers Day to my super hero

My dad is the best. Yesterday he took me to see superman. Next he is going to take me to go see wolverine and the xmen.

My dad is my superhero because he spends time with me, shows me how to play video games, and takes me to see movies just me and him all the time. Having a dad around is awesome but I know some kids don't have a dad and I feel sad because they are missing out. My mom made me write a poem for my dad here it is

My dad is the coolest dad ever
He is always outsmarting me and very clever
He always beats me at the xbox games
But I will put him to shame

My dad does not play and wants me to be a good boy
If I don't listen I can't play with my toys
He works hard for all of us
I want to be him when I grow up

Happy fathers day dad

Fun at Noahs Ark

My birthday was on Wednesday and my mom took me and the whole family to Noahs Ark out here in Locust Grove. We got to see animals up close like the bird I don't know what the name of it was.
We also saw a tiger and I saw it eating meat and it used the bathroom....eeeewwww
We also saw birds in cages. They were parrots
We had fun and it stinked. I learned to never touch or go near a wild animal because it might not be friendly and it might eat you. I had fun learning about many different animals and I want to visit again.
