2014 Bucket List

I have a few things that I want to complete on my bucket list for the new year. My mom explained to me that a bucket list is something that I want to do or complete in 2014. Here is my list

1. I would like to take pictures with my moms old camera. I like taking photos because its fun and I get to capture things on camera that I might forget about.

2. Make more blog posts in the New Year. I want to blog at least once a week on weekends when I don't have school.

3. I would like to learn how to cook more. My mom does not want me in her kitchen because I will be messy....I am not messy.

4. I want to make videos and be on youtube....but my mom says no to youtube. I am going to try to change her mind with bribery.

5. I would like to read better. (My mom made do this one) But I don't want to do it because I don't like reading.

What's on your bucket list?

Honesty

Honesty can sometimes get you out of trouble. Sometimes you want to tell a untrue story because you don't want to hurt someone or get in trouble. This week in school we learned that honesty is the best thing that can get you out of trouble. If you are honest and somebody ask you what happened do not tell a lie. If you tell a lie you can get into trouble if they find out what really happened.

Example of not being honest
Pretend I stole $10 from my dad and he asked me what happened to hi $10.00 and I say that my sister took it or my mom took it and I knew that I took it, that would be a lie. When my dad finds out (because he will) I will get into a lot of trouble and my allowance will be gone for two weeks.

Example of being honest.
If my dad asked me who took the $10.00 and I said that I did it because wanted to buy a toy then that will be the truth and I was honest. I was wrong but I was still honest about who took the money and why. I still may get in trouble because is bad but I may not get into a lot of trouble because I told the truth.

Do you have an example of honesty?

Back to school

It has been three weeks since I started school. Its been okay so far. I already have projects and things to do like homework and spelling tests. I am in the 2nd grade and my mom is getting tough on me with my school work.

My first project was a me collage. On that collage I put that I played football, had a blog, and liked to play video games. I play real football for the Georgia Xtreme League.

My next project was about the president, mayor, and governor. The mayor of my town came to our school and he gave us rubber bands that say where we live. He talked about his job and he said how he made my city one of the best cities in Georgia.

This school year I will do better than last year and do as my teacher and parents says.

Have you went back to school yet?

The day I had surgery

On last week I had surgery. I was scared before the surgery but I got over it when I got to the hospital. I had surgery on my navel....but its called something else. My mom says its a hernia surgery but I just call it a belly button surgery. My navel was out so they put it in.

The surgery was okay I didn't feel anything until I woke up then I was sore. My belly button was all covered up and I could not walk for a few days. I am all better now.....I think. My mom said she had the same surgery and my sister will probably have it to.

What kinds of surgeries have you had?

Race at such a young age

I asked my mom about race the other day because I heard the word and did not understand what it meant. My mom asked me to explain the color of my skin and the color of others in my own words and whatever I say believe in it.

My response was, I am brown and I have bones inside my skin. I go to school with people who are peach or beige and brown like me. Color of skin does not matter because friends are just friends. CJ is my friend and he is beige. We are brown......I don't understand why my mom says black.

We all come in different shapes, sizes, and color but that should not define who we are. Everyone bleeds blood oh and has bones too.

What I have learned so far this summer

This summer my mom has my sister and I in "summer school" I don't like it. She has a board on the wall that outlines what we do each day. This week we are writing and reading plus I have a Dr. appointment on Friday

I am practicing my handwriting because mom says I need too. I think I write better than her (see above picture) My mom has me practicing in this book

I am almost finished this book and then we will concentrate on more math and reading. I guess I need to learn so I don't lose anything over the summer. What have you learned this summer so far?

All pictures were taken by me with my moms old snap and shoot camera and I like taking pictures its fun.

What kind of superhero do you like to wear

Sometimes I like to dress up in superhero outfits. Here is Batman who is your favorite superhero? Oh by the way I actually have this entire outfit except for the bedroom shoes my mom said she will find them for me for Christmas.
